Each member's journey is unique in both time and grade, striving to become the belt they wear.

UNIFORM PATCHES:
REQUIRED PATCHES ON THE UNIFORM:

Your Country National Flag (ex. USA) placed on the right sleeve below the shoulder seam
South Korean flag placed (red up) on the left sleeve below the shoulder seam.
The System Patch placed on the left chest.
Your Studio Name printed logo on back.
Junior Grade Black Belts are required to have a patch below the South Korean flag.
Songin chevron symbols on the left cuff sleeve. Blue(30), Gold (50), Red (70), Black (90)

ADDITIONAL PATCHES:

Black Belts may earn an Assistant Instructor patch located below the South Korean Flag.
Black Belts may earn an Instructor patch located below the South Korean Flag.
Leadership patch is placed under your national flag (right Sleeve) while active participant.
Elite Warrior patch is placed above the South Korean Flag, specific details apply.
Participants may aquire a Full Split patch located under the South Korean Flag.

UNIFORM TRIM:

White and Orange belt holders will have no trim on their uniform top.
All other Gup belt holders will have the appropriate belt color trim on the lapel.
Cho Dan Bo belt holders will remove the red trim,
symbolizing the return to basics in preparation for Black Belt.
Black Belt holders will have black trim on the lapel, cuffs and around the bottom edge of the uniform top. This trim represents the burden of responsibility they hold for their thoughts and actions.

UNIFORM FOLDING:

1. Place uniform top on back, folding sleeves inward at the shoulder seam towards the center.
2. Fold left and right side of top inward to meet at center.
3. Fold pants in half with legs together and then fold in half lengthwise twice.
Place pants on bottom half of the uniform top and fold the top in half width-wise.
4. Fold belt in half and wrap around uniform with an overhand knot.

NOTE: Your belt is NOT to be washed at anytime.
NOTE: All uniforms MUST have studio logo on back.

BELTS: MEANING OF THE BELT COLORS:

WHITE

The White belt is the beginning of life's cycle, and represents the seed as it lies beneath the snow in Winter.

ORANGE

The Orange belt represents the sun as it warms the earth to prepare for new growth in Spring.

GREEN

The Green belt represents the new plant that has begun to grow as Summer arrives.

BLUE

The Blue belt represents the nourishment received from the sky and water as the plant prepares to flower in late Summer.

RED

The Red belt represents life's energy as the plant begins to bloom and ripen in early Fall.

CHO DAN BO

The Cho Dan Bo belt represents the mature plant. The Cho Dan Bo student is a candidate for Black belt and now must prepare for the final step in the first life cycle.

BLACK

The Black belt represents maturity, respect and honor and is the final stage of one life cyle and the beginning of the next. Reaching this goal starts the student on the path towards true mastery in the ranks of Black belt.
